We cordially invite you to take active participation in a National
Conclave on Energy to be held at Bhuvaneshwar, Orissa on 26 and 27 of
March 2011 (Saturday and Sunday).
Dear Sir/Madam,
A national level energy conclave is being planned in Bhubaneshwar on
26th and 27th March to provide a common platform for various NGOs and
individuals working in the field of ENERGY AND CLIMATE CHANGE in the country. This
conclave has the following main objectives:
1. Deliberate on the social, environmental and economic problems
caused by the past energy policies in the country.
2. Prepare the outlines of an energy policy for the country, which is
people centric, environmentally friendly and economically viable.
Such a parallel policy has become necessary because of the huge
deleterious impacts of the past policies on our society, which have
resulted in social, environmental and economic issues of gigantic
magnitude.
3. Prepare a plan of action to create awareness in the society of the
importance of energy efficiency and conservation.

As has been planned today, expected 50+25 delegates have confirmed their participation from across the country. That’s why we need to arrange the lodging and boarding arrangement for them.
