Think development beyond POSCO/VEDANTA

Delivering Harish Chandra Buxipatra lecture today in Bhubaneswar,Sr.Journalist K.Badrinath attributed to the view that development can happen in the state much beyond the theory of POSCO/VEDANTA based industrialisation.The state can use/develop its very owned Textile, Handloom and Handicraft Sector;besides these he also asserted that, Odisha can follow the good practises of Land Reforms,Education,Health interventions, Judicial reforms from states like WB,Kerala,AP,MP and Gujarat.He blasted the politicians for poor state of affairs of the state thus contributing the debate of rich natural resources and poor state theory.Interestingly,the audience included a large number of BJD,BJP youth leaders and social activists.
